Nellie Choi, Manager of Program Operations, manages all referrals into Restore and streamlines processes and operations across programs. Nellie Choi graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary with a concentration in Psychiatry and Religion and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Nellie has trained and completed two units of clinical pastoral education at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Her experiences as an interfaith hospital chaplain, advocate, and artist grant her a unique perspective and leadership in advocacy and social action. Nellie has almost ten years of experience in ministry in the Korean United Methodist Church and English Ministries as both a worship leader and children’s pastor. She believes everyone is a work in progress. She is a lover of Sapsarees (Korean sheep dogs, a national treasure), personality tests, and music.
