PEIYI WOO

Counselor (Part-time)

Peiyi Woo graduated with a Master of Science in Social Work at Columbia University in the City of New York. Peiyi brings with her international experiences and has worked in capacities of a team leader, social work supervisor and social worker working with youth in schools, on court-diversionary programs and leading welfare institutions in Singapore. Peiyi also helped set up the first continuing-education center in Singapore, Social Service Institute, and worked with 150 service provider organizations on grant funding, program development and outcome/impact evaluation.

Peiyi is an avid backpacker who has stepped foot on 30 countries (so far!). She spent nine months backpacking across Asia, out of which some months were spent volunteering at orphanages and homes for persons with disabilities in Nepal and China. When she isn’t finding her way around the world, she spends time with nature (great lover of the National Parks in North America) and dancing to 1920s swing music.
