Empowering mothers through economic opportunity

Why Give Back Mother’s Day?

At Restore, we are in our 3rd year of the #GiveBackMothersDay campaign, a specific call to awareness and action in a time of honoring motherhood.

You may know that 70% of the women we serve are mothers.

Being a mother is part of what made the women we work with vulnerable to sex trafficking. Desperate to provide for their kids, they were taken advantage of and exploited in unimaginable ways.

The goal of #GiveBackMothersDay is to raise $100,000 by Mother’s Day to empower moms with real, sustainable jobs.

The #1 request we hear from survivors is “help me find a safe job.” In response, we created our Economic Empowerment program to connect women to safe employment and a community of support.

Help me find a safe job. — the #1 request from survivors

After our first Economic Empowerment pilot group, 82% of members were employed and wages increased on average by $695/month.

$1,500 sponsors one mother through our Economic Empowerment program and increases her annual wages by over $8,000/year on average. Your investment transforms into a 5X return for some of the most deserving mothers we know. Now that is a Mother’s Day to celebrate!
