Join the MyRestore Campaign Kickoff

Dear Restore NYC Supporters,

In less than three years of operations, Restore NYC has solidified a renowned and unparalleled aftercare program for foreign-born survivors of sex trafficking in New York City. We are now entering a period of growth and expansion. To better extend our aftercare services to more victims, we plan to hire a Spanish-speaking case manager. We need your help with this goal!

Monday, September 26th, we launched a campaign to hire a Spanish-speaking case manager and kicked off a one-month competition celebrating the launch of our new MyRestore fundraising tool. Our campaign goal is to raise $50,000 from individual and team participants.

What Is MyRestore?
MyRestore allows supporters to fundraise for Restore NYC using personal appeals or events to rally support from their personal networks. Create a personalized page with MyRestore to publicize your campaign and accept donations that go directly to Restore NYC. This is your chance to be creative while helping us meet the needs of sex trafficking victims in New York City.

How Do I Get Started?
1. Go to my.restorenyc.org
2. Click on the link “Start Your Campaign” in box #3.
3. Create an account in the black box on the upper right corner of the page.
4. Follow the prompts to create your own monetary goal and message to supporters.
5. Send out your personalized MyRestore link to tell others how they can support Restore NYC.

The campaign for a Spanish-speaking case manager and competition will run from September 26 to October 26, 2011. Exciting prizes, including an iPad2 and a dinner for two at Morimoto will be awarded to individual campaigns with (1) the highest amount raised; (2) the highest number of donors; and (3) the most creative fundraising method. We will feature the most effective group/organization campaign on our blog. Start your MyRestore campaign today at my.restorenyc.org and get the word out via email, Facebook and Twitter!
