Restore NYC is a nonprofit dedicated to restoring freedom, safety and hope for foreign-born survivors of sex trafficking by providing long-term, holistic aftercare services. That’s right; you heard us correctly! We are exactly four weeks from our Restore Freedom Gala.
Today, in honor of our one-month-away status, we are granting you a sneak preview into our gala venue. Like last year, our second annual gala is taking place at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in the Lower East Side.

As a former synagogue built in 1849, this exquisite building has maintained its original architectural integrity in the tradition of the mid-19th century German Reform Movement. With high ceilings, stunning stained glass windows, and second floor galleries, it plays host to many special events, including the wedding of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick.

We have a fantastic program lined up, which will include art displays, live music, silent auction, and a presentation, but more on that later! There’s no way to describe how magical the venue feels, but we’ll leave you with an advance look with Faith, Lance, and Greg.
