Dorthe Tate’s experience includes banking for Citibank and ING in London and Frankfurt as well as significant pro-bono leadership roles within nonprofits. She was the Corporate Relations Manager with Opportunity International in London where she launched the Women’s Opportunity Network to more meaningfully engage and involve women. After seven years with Opportunity International, she became very aware of the needs in her own city of London. Through her church, Holy Trinity Brompton, she became a leader with the William Wilberforce Trust and helped launch an aftercare program for women who were trafficked into the sex industry in London. Dorthe sits on the boards of the Freedom from Fistula Foundation and Alpha, Long Island.
Dorthe is also a trusted volunteer in Restore's Safehome where she leads activities and develops meaningful relationships with survivors. She lives with her husband Truett and their two children, Annika and Sebastian, in Long Island, NY.
