Y hoy, muchos todav\u00eda est\u00e1n en la misma posici\u00f3n sin medios sostenibles para la estabilidad financiera. Si bien muchos estadounidenses pasaron a trabajar de forma remota o solicitaron beneficios de desempleo, la mayor\u00eda de las mujeres a las que servimos en Restore no ten\u00edan estas opciones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Sin embargo, esta no es la primera vez que los sobrevivientes pasan por desaf\u00edos como este. <strong>Hemos visto que las mujeres a las que servimos son tan resilientes y fuertes; son, quiz\u00e1s, incluso <em>m\u00e1s<\/em> equipado para los efectos secundarios de una pandemia que la mayor parte del mundo.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Aunque las luchas pueden ser abrumadoras a veces, hemos visto a mujeres alabar a Dios por lo que tienen y sonre\u00edr por otro d\u00eda. Como Gerente de Servicios al Cliente en Restore, mi esperanza es que todas las mujeres con las que trabajamos tengan estabilidad: en las finanzas y el trabajo, en la seguridad f\u00edsica y mental, y en la vivienda. Cuando los sobrevivientes est\u00e1n teniendo un d\u00eda dif\u00edcil, les doy espacio para hablar sobre ello. Muchas mujeres no tienen oportunidades de hablar con alguien sobre lo que est\u00e1n pasando debido a su aislamiento por la pandemia. As\u00ed que escucho e incluso me siento con ellos en silencio. <strong>Luego los animo record\u00e1ndoles todo lo que han logrado hasta ahora y hasta d\u00f3nde pueden llegar. Les digo que no est\u00e1n solos.<\/strong> En este momento, todos estamos separados f\u00edsicamente, pero les aseguro que la comunidad de Restore camina junto a ellos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">A lo largo de este tiempo, he visto un aumento de sobrevivientes que buscan servicios de asesoramiento y administraci\u00f3n de casos para su bienestar mental, f\u00edsico y emocional. He visto a mujeres esforzarse por mejorar su ingl\u00e9s tomando clases de ESL en l\u00ednea. He visto a mujeres perseguir sus sue\u00f1os empresariales e inscribirse en nuestra clase virtual de Servicios de Apoyo para aprender c\u00f3mo estar listas para el nuevo mercado laboral.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Cuando escucho a una sobreviviente decir que est\u00e1 feliz de tener ahora m\u00e1s tiempo con sus hijos en casa, su positividad me alienta. Cuando escucho que la visa de una mujer ha sido aprobada, me alegro mucho. Cuando escucho que una mujer consigue un nuevo trabajo a trav\u00e9s de nuestra cooperativa propiedad de los trabajadores, tengo esperanzas. Y cuando escucho a una mujer que decide volver a la escuela para avanzar en su carrera, me siento alentado por su fortaleza y perseverancia continuas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">A medida que contin\u00faa la pandemia, la realidad es que algunos sobrevivientes a\u00fan luchan por pagar el alquiler y evitar ser desalojados de sus hogares. Algunos luchan por alimentar a sus familias. Otros luchan por enviar dinero a sus familias en el extranjero.
