Director of Housing

Originally from Reno, Jonathan received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada where he specialized in International Affairs and Chinese Studies. He was also awarded the prestigious Truman Scholarship in 2013. In 2016 he graduated from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs where he received his Master of International Affairs degree with an emphasis on Humanitarian Policy and International Conflict Resolution.

In addition to spending three years working and studying in China, Jonathan has also dedicated many years serving vulnerable communities around the world. He has volunteered with NGOs in India, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Peru. Jonathan is especially passionate about working with orphaned and vulnerable children living in extreme poverty and is interested in how humanitarian efforts can be better implemented to meet their unique needs, especially those living in regions of active combat.

In 2016, Jonathan joined the Restore team as the Manager of Job Development - connecting clients to safe and sustainable job opportunities. As Director of Housing, Jonathan currently oversees an evolving housing strategy to ensure all clients have access to safe and diverse housing solutions including emergency, transitional, rapid rehousing, and flexible funding.
