Counselor Advocate

Summer joined Restore as a counselor advocate in June 2018. Previously, she worked as a clinical mental health counselor to provide culturally-sensitive and person-centered therapy to teenagers and young adults. She has a Master’s in Education from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Economics degree from Renmin University of China.

Summer wanted to join the fight to end sex trafficking after first learning about the problem at the International Cooperating Ministries Women’s Conference. She has since been called to advocate for social justice. Summer has also taught 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School at her church.
