Restore serves its first client.

Restore opens the first transitional home in the Northeast dedicated to providing safe housing to immigrant survivors of sex trafficking.

The first survivor moves into Restore’s transitional home.

Housing demand for survivors continues to surge, and Restore increases capacity in the transitional home by 57%.

Restore commits funding to build a “Client Services” program to connect more trafficking victims to essential services.

Restore launched an Economic Empowerment program to help trafficking survivors find safe work and gain financial independence. This initiative led to the creation of a survivor-owned worker cooperative, a first for trafficking survivors in New York City.

Restore launches a case-management and counseling initiative, emerging as the only organization in New York City that provides safe housing, economic empowerment, and trauma counseling for survivors of trafficking.

Based on the high demand for housing, Restore further expands its Housing program to help survivors secure and maintain housing in independent locations. Restore emerges as the only organization in NYC to provide trauma-informed, emergency, transitional, and long-term housing options specifically for survivors of trafficking.

Restore launches its first Entrepreneurship Lab in partnership with NYU, to empower survivors to further take control of their financial independence by launching their own businesses.

Restore begins serving domestic survivors of sex and labor trafficking, in addition to immigrant survivors.

Restore collaborates with industry leaders to create the “Road to Recovery” report in response to the impacts of COVID-19. Restore is invited to present the findings to the White House's Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Human Trafficking.

Restore provides over $614,000 in direct emergency relief assistance from its COVID relief fund to 128 survivors of trafficking, 52% of which were not eligible for stimulus checks.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken recognizes Restore as one of two recipients of the 2024 Presidential Award for Extraordinary Efforts to Combat Trafficking in Persons.
