On September 19, 2018, the Restore Freedom Gala: Momentum will take place at Guastavino’s in New York City. This event is always one of the most important nights of our year. And at this cultural moment, when there’s so much momentum building to end sexual violence, it’s going to be pivotal. We’d love to see you there.
For the first time in Restore NYC’s history, a survivor will be delivering live remarks at the Freedom Gala. Etel V. is a graduate of our programs and currently a assistant facilitator in our Economic Empowerment Program. Event guests will experience her journey and her healing through a video and a short speech by Etel.
We’ve laughed and cried together while preparing for the gala, and through it all, we’ve been encouraged by Etel’s positivity and joy. We’re looking forward to sharing her story on September 19th, but for now, we want to share her lighter side. We’re delighted to introduce Etel V.!
